  • Browser information and session cookies related to your access and use of the Gigazone app;
  • Data insights attained based on correlation and analytics of your information collected in providing the Gigazone app, which may be used in aggregated and dis-aggregated formats or to obtain trend analytics, to provide the Gigazone app; and
  • Use of the above-described collected information in aggregated and dis-aggregated formats to enhance our current Gigazone app or to provide app features.

How Paul Bunyan Communications Uses the Information

Paul Bunyan Communications uses the information collected as described in this Privacy Policy, including personal information, to:

  • Provide you with the Gigazone app;
  • Implement, improve and/or enhance the Gigazone app, including to make future releases available to you;
  • Carry out obligations as described or authorized in the Gigazone App Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy;
  • Enforce Paul Bunyan Communications rights arising from the Agreement between you and Paul Bunyan Communications; and
  • Fulfill any other purpose authorized by you and reasonably required for the Gigazone app.

 

OPT-OUT

We send data securely to our third-party technical network services partner which enables us to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and remedy issues that may be negatively affecting your experience with our services. Our third-party technical network services partner is under strict contractual controls, requiring them to maintain the confidentiality of all such Personal Information and to use such information solely for purposes related to our provision of Services.

You have the ability to decide whether or not we use your data in this way for the Paul Bunyan Communications Services to which you are subscribed.  In addition, aggregate data is used to better evaluate services used by all our members.

You can opt out of allowing use of your data in this way and for these purposes by:

  1. Call 1-888-586-3100 and stating your intent to opt out of use of your data; or
  2. you can go to your Smarthub account and select the option to opt out under the https://paulbunyan.smarthub.coop/Login.html.  Once you have logged into your account, go to the “Edit My Services” link, and then go to “My Internet” to select the opt out option.
